Screening and Review
MyDeme may screen transactions, account holders, businesses, shipping destinations, end users, and end uses against legal and compliance criteria. We may request additional information or documentation before accepting, processing, shipping, or completing a transaction.
Prohibited Transactions
You may not use the Services in connection with prohibited end users, prohibited destinations, blocked or sanctioned persons, prohibited end uses, unlawful transshipment, customs misdeclaration, or embargo violations.
Importer of Record and Customs
Unless expressly agreed in writing for a specific transaction, you are responsible for import clearance, customs declarations, and destination-market compliance. MyDeme is not your customs broker, freight forwarder, or legal advisor.
Duties, Taxes, and Documentation
Duties, customs assessments, VAT, brokerage charges, storage fees, and similar import or export costs may apply and are your responsibility unless expressly stated otherwise in writing. Product documentation provided for convenience does not constitute legal or tax advice.
Right to Refuse, Hold, or Cancel
MyDeme may refuse, hold, suspend, or cancel any quote, order, account, shipment, or payment where we believe legal or compliance risk exists.
